Why Decision Making Doesn’t Matter
We often worry about making the wrong decision. As if one choice could break the flow of our life.
But here’s the deeper truth: there are no wrong decisions. Every path leads somewhere – and what if every path is the right one? Because in the end, it’s not the choice that determines your destiny. It’s you.
You are the path
In the Kabbalistic tradition, every soul carries its own unique correction – its Tikkun. It’s the places we’re here to grow, the lessons we’re here to embody. And here’s the beauty: whichever turn you take, life has a way of bringing you back to those very lessons. You can’t miss them. They’ll show up again and again, disguised in different people, situations, choices – until you no longer need the disguise. Until you’ve integrated the gift.
That’s why decisions matter less than we think. We can’t “escape” our soul’s path. Each step, even the ones we call mistakes, is woven into the larger design. The very act of walking the path – with awareness, with willingness to keep correcting – is what fulfills it.
For me, the greatest relief has been realizing this: I cannot fall off my path, because I am the path. And every decision I make is simply another chance to remember that. When we live this way, something softens. Anxiety loosens its grip. We stop demanding perfect foresight from ourselves, and start living with trust. Decisions stop being ultimatums. They become invitations into flow – into the constant dialogue between us, our soul, and life itself.
