Why Do You Keep Giving Your Power Away?

The more we search for answers outside ourselves, the more answers we get. And soon the question becomes: what’s actually true?

Here’s the truth: every time you hand over a decision to someone else, you also hand over your energy and your power.

There’s a big difference between seeking answers and asking for guidance.

Seeking answers means outsourcing your compass. You stop trusting yourself. You give away the wheel.

Asking for guidance means you own your compass – but you invite others to widen your perspective, to add depth to what you already know.

The key question to ask yourself is simple: am I asking because I don’t trust myself? Or am I asking because I already feel my direction, and I want to enrich it?

In my own life, I’ve noticed how subtle the line can be. Times when I wanted someone to just tell me what to do were always the times I didn’t want to take responsibility. And times when I’ve invited advice while holding my own clarity – that’s when the guidance felt like fuel, not dependency.

So here’s my challenge to you: stop giving your power away. Your compass belongs to you.

Shift Section: Next time you ask for advice, notice your body. Does it feel like you’re shrinking – or expanding into your power?

Let’s unlock the next evolution together.
